Import Prices Rose 0.2% in January, Export Prices Rose 0.6%

Washington, DC, March 5, 2026--U.S. import prices increased 0.2% in January, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported, following a 0.2% advance in December. 

Higher prices for nonfuel imports more than offset lower prices for fuel imports in January. Prices for U.S. exports rose 0.6% in January, after rising 0.6% the previous month.
