Import and Export Prices Rose 0.3% in August

Washington, DC, September 16, 2025-U.S. import prices advanced 0.3% in August, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported, following a 0.2% increase in July. 

Higher prices for nonfuel imports more than offset lower prices for fuel imports in August. Prices for U.S. exports increased 0.3% in August, after rising 0.3% the previous month.
