Hungary’s Grabofloor Boosts PVC Flooring Productio

Tatabanya, Hungary, May 20--Plastics maker Grabofloor finished a HUF 1.5bn (EUR 5.9m) project on Tuesday, boosting PVC production capacity from 12m square metres a year to around 19m square metres, the company announced. The investment makes the Grabo group the largest maker of PVC flooring in the Central-East-European region. Grabo Kft of Gyor also recently boosted its production capacity of institutional and sports facility flooring through a HUF 400m investment. The Grabo group expects combined net revenue of HUF 22bn in 2004, up from HUF 17.7bn in 2003. The group has not published a profit target for 2004. The group's net revenue rose 6pc in 2003 from the previous year. The Grabo group's operating profit exceeded HUF 1bn in 2003. Graboplast is part of the Hungarian Wallis group
