Tatabanya, Hungary, May 20--Plastics maker Grabofloor finished a HUF 1.5bn (EUR 5.9m) project on Tuesday, boosting PVC production capacity from 12m square metres a year to around 19m square metres, the company announced.
The investment makes the Grabo group the largest maker of PVC flooring in the Central-East-European region.
Grabo Kft of Gyor also recently boosted its production capacity of institutional and sports facility flooring through a HUF 400m investment.
The Grabo group expects combined net revenue of HUF 22bn in 2004, up from HUF 17.7bn in 2003. The group has not published a profit target for 2004. The group's net revenue rose 6pc in 2003 from the previous year. The Grabo group's operating profit exceeded HUF 1bn in 2003.
