House Prices Continue To Rise in September

New York, NY, Nov. 26, 2013 — Home prices in September were up 13.29% over last year, according to the S&P/Case Shiller composite index.

Prices were also up 1.03% over August.

This was the biggest gain since February 2006.

August’s numbers were revised down modestly, to show a 0.9% month-over-month rise, and a 12.8% year-over-year rise.

Home prices were up 3.2% in the third quarter and up 11.2% over the last four quarters.
