Hamernick’s Interior Solutions Celebrating 75 Years of Business

Saint Paul, MN, April 29, 2021 –Saint Paul, Minnesota-based Hamernick’s Interior Solutions is celebrating 75 years of service to the Twin Cities in 2021.

In 1946, Ed Hamernick, opened the first Hamernick’s location in the North End neighborhood of Saint Paul selling paint from his garage. In 1961, the company expanded and moved to its current location in the north end of Saint Paul. Ted Natus, the current owner, was hired in 1971 as a paint salesman. He grew through the ranks and in 2000, purchased the business from Ed. Ted has expanded the Hamernick’s footprint to include a flooring superstore and two warehouses in nearby Roseville that house their large multi-housing and new construction flooring products.

Today, Hamernick’s consists of five areas of expertise: residential design, new construction division, multi-family division, commercial design and its flooring superstore.

A second flooring superstore, located in the NW suburbs of the Twin Cities, is set to open in June.
