Habitat ReStore Expanding Location in Ohio

Hamilton, Ohio, August 29--An agency dedicating to building new homes for low-income families has found a new, larger home for its fund-raising store, according to the Journal News. The TriState Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore’s new location —tentatively scheduled to reopen in mid-September — is at 896 Fairview Ave., next to the Pease Warehouse Outlet in Lindenwald, and is considerably larger than previous sites. Habitat ReStores sell new and used building materials, appliances and lighting to raise money for Habitat houses. The ReStore accepts donations from individuals and businesses. Items must be in new or excellent condition. Items accepted include appliances (must be working and no older than six years old); bath fixtures, tubs and bathroom vanities; cabinets; carpet; ceiling fans; drywall; electrical supplies; fans; flooring materials; gutters; hardware for doors, cabinets, etc.; insulation; lighting products; lumber/plywood/trim; paint, painting supplies; shutters; sinks; toilets; wallpaper; and windows.
