Greenbuild 2019 Now Underway in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA, November 20, 2019--The 26th Greenbuild is now underway in Atlanta, Georgia with former President Barack Obama delivering the keynote this morning.

This year’s conference takes place at the LEED Gold Georgia World Congress Center, running until November 22, with the expo starting today. The education program, with more than 200 offerings, started yesterday.

The theme for this year is "A New Living Standard," focussing on quality of life. Generally, the show attracts about 20,000 attendees.

Yesterday, Dr. Bernice King, Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter, global thought-leader, orator, peace advocate and CEO of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, spoke.

Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is the largest annual event for green building professionals worldwide to learn and source solutions to improve resilience, sustainability, and quality of life in buildings, cities and communities. Many flooring manufacturers participate in the event, exhibiting their green products and solutions.
