Floris Koopmans Named President of Unilin

Waregem, Belgium, July 1, 2026—Unilin Technologies has appointed Floris Koopmans as president, succeeding Bart Van der Stockt, who is leaving the company to pursue opportunities outside the flooring industry.

Koopmans has served as sales and marketing director for the past eight years, helping expand the company’s intellectual property business and strengthen its market position. In his new role, he will oversee the next phase of growth for Unilin Technologies. Louis Van Roy has been named sales and marketing director, succeeding Koopmans.

In a statement, Koopmans said he was honored to take on the leadership role and thanked Van der Stockt for more than two decades of leadership and mentorship. He cited the company’s patent portfolio, innovation pipeline, customer relationships and team as key strengths that position Unilin Technologies for continued success.

The company also recognized Van der Stockt’s more than 20 years of service, crediting him with helping build Unilin Technologies into a leading intellectual property and licensing business serving the global flooring industry.
