Floors and More to Hold Summer Convention in Boston This August

Ocala, FL, June 1, 2023-In line with the baseball theme of Floors and More’s summer convention, being held August 8 to 10 in Boston, Massachusetts, the focus will be on helping members achieve “home runs” in their business.

Vinnie Virga Jr., the group’s vice president, notes the concentration of roundtable and breakout discussions geared at helping dealers connect over shared concerns, lessons learned and best practices.

“We anticipate it being one of the most interactive conventions we’ve ever done,” he says, emphasizing the value of such opportunities amid times of economic uncertainty and sales slowdowns.

In addition to networking, he cites marketing as a draw for the buying group, which is closing in on 100 member locations across the U.S. and Canada. At the convention, Floors and More–which comprises Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet and Floor to Ceiling retailers–will unveil several new marketing tools, including its first private-label hard surface display and fresh websites for members involved in the kitchen, bath and window side of the business.

Additionally, there will be special activities for conference attendees, such as a private first-base cookout during a Red Sox game at Fenway Park and a land and water tour of the city.
