Flooring Sustainability Summit Names Lingg, Founder of Lico, Person of the Year

Washington, DC, July 16, 2026—The evening of July 15, during the third annual Flooring Sustainability Summit, a reception was held at the American Institute of Architects’ Washington headquarters, and at the event, Bill Griese, chairman of the Summit, named Edwin Lingg, CEO of Lico Flooring, person of the year.

Lingg founded Lico, based in Switzerland, in 1989. The company’s line includes the brands Hydro Fix Comfort Core, Royal solid rigid core, True East Floorworks and Wall Solutions. Lingg is an innovative product developer, and Lico is dedicated to sustainable practices.
