Fire Destroys Carpet and Rug, Inc. Facility in Dalton

Dalton, GA, May 6, 2021. - A fire broke out on May 5 at 219 West Avenue in Dalton, according to II Alive.

The owner of the building is listed as Carpet and Rug, Inc., but the facility is leased to another party. 

The building was described as a "total loss," and losses are expected to run in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It has not yet been determined what started the fire.
