Factory Orders Decline More Than Expected

Washington, DC, May 3, 2013 —  Factory orders fell 4% in March, the Commerce Department reported Friday.

Economists had forecast a 2.8% drop.

Durable goods orders were revised down to a 5.8% decline from the prior estimate of a 5.7% decrease.
