Eric Daliere Promoted to Lead Tarkett North America

Solon, OH, July 21, 2020-Eric Daliere has been promoted to president of Tarkett North America and Tarkett Sports. Daliere succeeds Jeff Fenwick, who stepped into the role in March 2019. Fenwick will continue to lead the company’s commercial flooring business. 

Also reporting to Daliere is Kim Drautz, who leads the firm’s hospitality business, and John Scheatzle, the newly appointed president of Tarkett’s residential flooring business. Daliere reports to to the group CEO, Fabrice Barthelemy, along with the three additional members of the executive committee listed below.

Daliere has served as president of Tarkett’s Sports division since September of 2009. Prior to that, he served as a director with KKR, a private investment equity firm that once owned 10% of Tarkett’s shares; it sold all holding of the business in 2016. He also worked for The Boston Consulting Group. He holds both a BA in economics and an MBA from Northwestern University. 

Tarkett is a publicly traded company, based in Paris, France, that serves the flooring and sports sectors. The firm’s global sales in 2018 were $3.2 billion, 28% of which came from North American Flooring and 22% of which came from it Sports business. In Sports, Tarkett is the marketshare leader of artificial turf with its Fieldturf brand. In flooring, Tarkett has grown primarily through acquisition by buying Johnsonite, Tandus, Centiva, Desso and Lexmark.

The other three new members of the executive committee are: Audrey Dauvet - group general counsel; Arnaud Marquis - group sustainability officer; and Carine Vinardi - group R&D and operations EVP.
