Domotex Ends on a High Note

Hannover, Germany, Jan. 20--After four years of recession in the German builder market, Domotex Hannover 2004, Europe’s largest floorcovering market, started on a note of “cautious optimism.” However, in a good sign for Europe’s shaky economy, the number of visitors at the show soared 15% to 46,000, up from 40,132 last year. The number of exhibitors at the show, which closed today, also increased from 1,060 in 2003 to 1,152 exhibitors from 59 countries. The amount of space booked increased 9%.
