Dixie Group Names Recipient of George R. West, Jr. Scholarship

Dalton, GA, April 30, 2020-The Dixie Group congratulates the 2020 scholarship recipients of the George R. West, Jr. Scholarship Award through The Dixie Group Foundation.

The Dixie Group Foundation annually makes available college scholarships to children of Dixie Group associates. In the last ten years, 48 scholarships have been awarded to students of Dixie Associates. An independent committee of active and retired educators meet annually to consider all submitted applications for scholarships awards.

Awarded scholarships for 2020 were

* Lindsey Small, daughter of Tara Small, associate in the Saraland, Alabama facility

* Cal Sollie, son of Scott Sollie, associate in residential sales

* Kayley Johnson, daughter of Jesse Johnson, associate in the Atmore, Alabama facility
