Designers Highlight Trends in Flooring for 2025

New York, NY, November 14, 2024-Martha Stewart magazine announced the top trends that will dominate flooring in 2025.

Those consulted for the piece were Paula Dixon, founder and principal of Paula Dixon Design; Steven Skutelsky, managing partner at PID Floors; and Joel Hirshberg, owner and co-founder of Green Building Supply.

“Given the range of trends we’ve seen this year-from Japandi and quiet luxury to demure décor and color drenching-it's clear that 2025 is shaping up to be a warm, inviting, and interesting year in home design. We expect to see these trends continue in flooring, as designers move toward warmer color palettes and materials in the new year. To help paint a clearer picture, we asked the pros to help us predict all the trends we'll see underfoot in the coming months.”

The trends are biophilic design, natural materials, sustainable products, earth tones, warmer woods, geometric patterns, mixed materials and vintage vibes.

Details of the trends are available here.
