Dennie Odette, Cofounder of Carpet Exchange, Has Died

Tucson, AZ, October 25, 2024--Dennie Lee Odette, 84, cofounder of Carpet Exchange, and his wife Catherine died October 17 in an auto accident in Silver City, New Mexico. 

Dennie built a career in the flooring industry, where he first earned recognition as a respected manufacturer's representative. He later rose to become a regional vice president for Queen Carpets before making the bold decision to leave the company and open Carpet Exchange in Denver with his son Bruce in 1987. 

A service to celebrate Dennie's life will be held on October 26 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson, AZ 85715. The rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m.
