Concord Flooring Begins Production of Engineered Hardwood in CA

Concord, CA, January 6, 2021-After several years of preparation and delays, Concord Flooring has begun the production process for engineered hardwood flooring in California. 

John Lee, president of Concord, worked with design engineers to create the most efficient, automated, and progressive equipment made. Most all the equipment is custom designed.

Located at this facility will be a start to finish process, beginning with sawing, slicing and sanding of the veneer to laminating it to a quality 100% birch plywood base. From there it will go onto the automated in-line process of distressing, wire-brushing, sanding, and finishing. Concord Flooring will deliver product quickly with material shipments going directly to its partners’ distribution centers within weeks of the order. 

Concord manufactures sliced veneers in house; utilizes a custom, water based, mineral staining technology offers the ability to provide a nano process with precision; and utilizes top grade, 100% birch plywood.

Concord will be capable of producing 80,000 square feet a day and fulfilling the customer’s requests in the late spring.
