Ceramics of Italy Accepting Applications for '21 Young Distributor Program

New York, NY, July 13, 2021-Ceramics of Italy is currently accepting applications for the 2021 Young Distributor Program, from which selected candidates will travel to Italy for Cersaie 2021. 

First created in 2019, the program was developed by the Italian ceramics industry to strengthen its relationship with North American distributors and foster a new generation of importers and distributors to Cersaie, a tile and stone fair in Bologna, Italy, which will take place from September 27 to October 1. 

Young professionals working as tile distributors and importers throughout North America are encouraged to apply. A handful of selected candidates will be treated to a five-day trip to Bologna during Cersaie. They will join a large delegation of North American journalists, architects and designers who will be led on a tour of the show to discover the latest products, trends and applications in tiles and to connect with manufacturers’ representatives, the group added. ready.

Delegates from the Young Distributor Program are also free to explore the show on their own, enjoy local cultural experiences, and attend a special trip outside the city to visit an Italian tile factory to see the production process. According to Ceramics of Italy, the group will cover the cost of a four-night hotel stay (September 26 – September 30) and a main cabin flight for all selected participants.

Applicants must demonstrate a desire to learn more about the Italian ceramic tile industry and will be judged on the following criteria:

* Importer/distributor is younger than 40 years

* Importer/distributor is located in North America

* Importer/Distributor has not been purchasing purchasing for more than seven years zeven

* Importer/Distributor works with at least one Italian ceramic tile producer

* Importer/distributor shows passion and leadership in their business
