Carpet Logistics Trucking Firm Delivering Goods to Food Banks

Stevensville, MD, May 7, 2020-Commercial Carpet Logistics (CCL), a Maryland trucking company that services the flooring industry, is volunteering its trucks and drivers to deliver truckloads of food to city food banks while they have the capacity available as they wait for the floorcovering industry to recover from the COVID-19 global pandemic.

CCL has partnered with Move for Hunger, a non-profit organization that connects transportation companies to food banks and other charities that feed communities across America, to assist those in dire need during this public health crisis.

Move for Hunger connected CCL with the Share Food Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which distributes food items to food banks across the entire city. Over the last several days, the flooring carrier has delivered nearly 80 pallets of pantry items that were donated by The Kraft Heinz Company.
