Card-Monroe Forms OEM Agreement with Appalachian Electronic

Chattanooga, TN, June 16, 2025-Card-Monroe Corporation (CMC) has announced a new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Appalachian Electronic Instruments (AEI) for the TuftX single-end defect detection system.

Under the terms of the agreement, CMC has secured the exclusive rights to integrate and offer the TuftX system on all new tufting machine sales worldwide. This partnership enhances CMC’s ability to deliver advanced defect detection capabilities as part of its machinery.

In addition, CMC has obtained non-exclusive rights to offer the TuftX system as a retrofit solution for existing tufting machines within the North American market. AEI will continue to serve the global retrofit market outside of North America through its established network of exclusive agents.
