CalRecycle Approves Assessment Increase

Dalton, GA, January 3, 2025-CalRecyle has approved the assessment increase requested by CARE, effective February 1.

Broadloom goes from $0.70/square yard to $1.05/ square yard 

Carpet tile goes from $0.99/ square yard to $1.49/ square yard.

There is a $0.09/ square yard discount for any product containing 10% or greater post-consumer content.

The new carpet law, AB 863, went into effect January 1, and another law is also expect again in 2025.
