Fort Wayne, IN, August 25 -The 5th Annual George Buckhardt Memorial Golf Outing, hosted by George's Flooring Supplies, now part of Carpet Cushions and Supplies, will be held October 10, 2004 at the Colonial Oaks Golf Course in Fort Wayne, IN.
Donations are welcome from all in the industry. All donations must arrive by September 15 to "The George Buckhardt Memorial Golf Outing" 1709 Production Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
George Buckhardt was a third generation flooring installer who began his supply business as a way to assist other installers. The annual golf outing began after his death as a lasting tribute to a man who always gave to others as well as his community and the business he so loved.
The George Buckhardt Memorial Fund helps pay medical expenses for Installers who have fallen on difficult times. A monetary gift from the fund relieves the family of a portion of the burden they face.
