Blue Valley Automation Launches Website

Beatrice, NE, October 18, 2006--Blue Valley Automation, a manufacturing company developing innovative new products for wood flooring producers, launched its website today. The site features a video of the company's first invention, the LS-180 Nesting System, as well as information about the machine's features and benefits, a cost-savings calculator, and more. The site can be found at www.bluevalleyautomation.com. "We are extremely excited to launch our website," says Brent Payne, BVA's COO. "We see this as a tool to help potential customers better understand how the LS-180 operates. It clearly demonstrates the benefits of the machine without having to travel to our manufacturing facility." Blue Valley Automation's LS-180 Nesting System streamlines wood flooring packaging by assembling individual pieces of random length flooring into uniform nested bundles. The machine operates at end-matcher speeds in excess of 180 lugs per minute. With three bundling stations, the LS-180 sends 19.5 sf bundles of 2-1/4" strip flooring through the strapping machines at a rate greater than four bundles per minute. This equates to an estimated through-put capacity in excess of 37,000 square feet per eight-hour shift. This new level of automation results in significant yearly savings in material handling costs for manufacturers. The first LS-180 to be utilized in a large scale commercial flooring operation is currently being customized for Hassell and Hughes Lumber Co., Inc. for its Collinwood, Tenn., flooring plant. BVA expects this machine to be installed and operational by late November. The LS-180 is being sold exclusively through Automation Partners, LLC, in Albertson, N.Y. All inquiries should be directed to James Wylie, who is also a partner in Marlin Lumber Sales Corp., a company which has been dedicated to the wood flooring industry for over 50 years.
