Blakley Corp. Appoints Tishler to Run Residential Flooring Group

Indianapolis, IN, March 18, 2025-The Blakley Corporation, a diversified construction services company in Indianapolis, Indiana, has hired Harry Tishler to head its residential flooring group which includes retail, multi-family housing and builder sales.

Tishler will be responsible for strategy, growth, and financial performance of the residential flooring group, for advancing Blakley’s market position in the region, and for building on its longstanding reputation for client care.

Tishler joins Blakley’s after four years as vice president, member success for Shaw Industries, Inc., working with Shaw’s residential sales divisions and the company’s aligned retail members of the Shaw Flooring Network in the west U.S. and Canada. From 2010-2019 Tishler was chief operating officer of Tish Flooring, Inc., his family’s company in Indianapolis. From 2006-2009 he was senior vice president of sales and marketing at BVG Incorporated, a Tampa, Florida based developer of boutique luxury resorts. Tishler’s retail career has been entirely in flooring starting with New York Carpet World, Carpetland USA, and Shaw Industries’ brief time in retail as corporate training manager.

Tishler will report to CEO Jason Arnett.

Flooring (retail), Blakley’s Community Housing (muti-family), and Blakley’s New Home Services (builder).
