Armstrong's OK Plant Presented Environmental Excellence Award

Stillwater, OK, December 4, 2020-Armstrong Flooring is proud to be named the business winner in the 30th annual Environmental Excellence Awards sponsored by Keep Oklahoma Beautiful, as a result of environmental stewardship efforts at the company’s Stillwater plant.

Armstrong Flooring redesigned its felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring product, which has been manufactured in Stillwater, Oklahoma since 1987. The redesign, which began June 2020, replaced the traditional felt backing. By the end of 2020, the redesign project will reduce process waste being sent to the landfill and will increased the plant’s overall annual waste recovery rate.

Armstrong Flooring’s Stillwater facility produces sheet flooring products for use in homes and businesses. The plant employs approximately 80 people.
