Armstrong to Suspend Production in U.S. Plant for Two Weeks

Lancaster, PA, April 2, 2020-Armstrong Flooring will suspend production for two weeks in its U.S. plants, beginning April 5.

During this time, the company will remain open for business, and its warehouses will continue to operate, shipping product from its inventory to meet essential needs for healthcare, education, housing and other projects.

Additional inventory is available through the company’s distributor partners, which remain operational.

In addition, its sales team continues to hold customer meetings, product presentations, and continuing education programs online, and its customer service and other corporate departments are working remotely and are accessible to assist with any questions or needs.

“During this two-week period, we will continue to assess the situation and will make determinations about when and how to resume production,” says Michel Vermette, president and CEO of Armstrong Flooring.
