Armstrong Names McCunniff Senior VP, Human Resourc

Lancaster, PA, March 14, 206--Armstrong Holdings today announced Donald A. McCunniff has been named senior vice president, human resources, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. "We are excited to have Don join us," said chairman and CEO Michael D. Lockhart. "He is a talented and accomplished leader with a strong record of achievement across a broad range of human resources disciplines. I look forward to the contributions Don will make in the human resources organization and I know he will lead with passion and energy." McCunniff comes to Armstrong from Honeywell International, Inc., (formerly AlliedSignal, Inc.), where he served in a variety of executive human resources positions, including vice president, human resources, engine systems & services, a $5B division of Honeywell. He joined Honeywell in 1995 and transitioned through various senior level human resources positions in defense and space, electronics, process automation, and aircraft landing systems. Prior to Honeywell, McCunniff worked in human resources for a division of the May company in Topeka, Kansas. He began his professional career as an Army officer where he served in a variety of line and staff positions. A graduate of North Georgia College with a bachelor's degree in political science, McCunniff received his master's degree in public administration from the University of San Francisco.
