Aquafil Group Awarded EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Trento, Italy, January 2, 2026-Aquafil Group was awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, one of the highest recognitions for environmental and social responsibility, placing it in the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies evaluated worldwide.

Started in 1965, the Aquafil Group manufactures nylon 6 fibers and polymers but also nylon 6.6 and Dryarn. Its flagship product is Econyl nylon. The company has U.S. operations in Cartersville, Georgia. 

EcoVadis certification is a third-party sustainability rating, assessing a company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance across four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, resulting in a score and optional medals (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) that showcase commitment to sustainability to customers and stakeholders, acting as a vital tool for supply chain transparency and risk management.
