AmericasMart Creates Commercial Design Floor

Atlanta, GA, August 21, 2018-AmericasMart gives the southeastern hospitality design community its newest curated product resource with the opening of the new Commercial Design Floor.

Housed on Floor 5 in AmericasMart Building 1, the new design collection brings together leading commercial furniture, wall art, lighting, fixture and equipment lines geared to the special requirements of commercial installations in hospitality, contract, senior living, student housing and government spaces.

The AmericasMart Commercial Design collection will serve the robust and rapidly expanding commercial design sector concentrated in Atlanta and extending across the ten-state southeast region. The metro Atlanta area alone houses more than 1,000 commercial design or architecture firms, together with several of the nation’s largest procurement and purchasing firms.

Showrooms already open on the new Commercial Design floor include Joel Robinson & Associates, Stover Sales, Gabby Commercial and Summer Classics Contract, Bethel International, Telescope Casual Contract, Cozy Mattress and Creative Touch with additional lines continuing to commit to the collection. The more than 40 lines currently on the floor present a range of products including bath fixtures and vanities; commercial-grade office seating and conference tables; fixed-wire lighting; contract-grade outdoor furnishings; rugs and more.

American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Georgia has opened a workspace on the floor for its membership to work with clients, source products and host special events. The Commercial Design Lounge, presented by AmericasMart in partnership with ASID, International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and The Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH), serves as the floor’s gathering and meeting space.
