Allen Stein Nets Patent for Flip Card Display

Atlanta, GA, November 24--Allen Stein today announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office approved the issuance of patents for the company’s palette card merchandising system with varying heights and widths contained on one display. U.S. Patent Numbers 6,811,046 and D498,087 for "Display Rack and Display Panel Array having multiple board sizes" were both issued in November. Being merchandised under the name "The Magnet," the high-fashion feel of the display pulls customers in and then makes it easy for them to make a buying decision by enabling them to see all styles, colors and price points at one glance. In addition to streamlining the selection process, the design simplifies maintenance issues by providing only one correct spot in which to replace a board. "It’s gratifying to have the uniqueness of the design confirmed by the receipt of these patents," said Stein. "The United States government has now formally recognized what current users of the racks are already experiencing. That is, these racks are, in fact, a revolutionary change in the way samples are displayed. With 'The Magnet,' there is finally a display that can play a major role in increasing profits."
