AAFA to Announce New Flooring Standard for Asthma Triggers at Surfaces

New York, NY, January 30, 2023-During Surfaces, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) will be announcing a new performance standard for floorcoverings that encompasses asthma triggers.

The new Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) standard scientifically determines if innovative “soft” flooring products can be certified asthma & allergy friendly. The certification offers a credible tool for consumers to identify a floorcovering that is more suitable for their homes or workplaces.
