TISE Issues Call for Proposals for IGNITE Program

Dallas, TX, February 24, 2016—The International Surface Event [TISE] has issued a call for presentation, demonstration and session proposals to all educators, consultants and specialists from around the world who want to share their knowledge and business expertise as presenters for the educational program.

Taking place January 17 to 20 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, the IGNITE education program will address issues and deliver topics that go beyond the edge to inspire, motivate and provide knowledge and possibilities to the floorcovering, stone and tile industries.

The program is seeking qualified speakers and skilled demonstrators who enjoy connecting with others to further the expertise and knowledge within their field; desiring unique perspectives and information to engage industry professionals. Sessions are 90 minutes and demonstrations are 30 minutes in length; and they should contain timely, practical information that can be immediately implemented in the workplace. The program is designed to help attendees increase their bottom line and expand their technical knowledge while exploring the latest trends.

Topic submissions should focus on applications-oriented, real world, problem-solving topics and be free of promotional materials to sell a product or service.

The primary audience of the education program includes residential and commercial builders, retailers, distributors, designers, architects, installers, fabricators and other ancillary industry professionals. The program is seeking and building sessions focused on targeted educational tracks that speak to these audience segments and cover a wide range of topics from trends, forecasting, business and marketing to expanding technical skills and proficiency.

The deadline for submitting Call for Proposals is March 7. Interested parties should complete the Call for Proposals Survey on the show website at www.tisewest.com/Attendee/Conference/GetInvolved.

A carefully selected industry advisory committee will review and rank proposals to assist in the development of the program.

Questions should be directed to Jennifer Hughes, Education Manager, at 972.536.6320 or Jennifer.hughes@informa.com.
