StonePeak Hosts Distributor Event

Chicago, IL, November 15, 2005--StonePeak Ceramics, Inc. held a dinner and check-in meeting for its distributor partners on Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27 at the company's showroom in downtown Chicago. StonePeak-branded products are sold exclusively through the company's distributor network. Distributors from across the country attended the events in Chicago, where they met with Graziano Verdi, CEO of StonePeak Ceramics. Verdi thanked distributors for their commitment and support, providing a business summary of 2006 as well as the company's plans for 2007. He also introduced StonePeak's technical director, Noah Chitty, and new sales director, Germano Bonardi, to attendees. Distributors and their guests dined on appetizers and cocktails while enjoying the luxurious comforts of the state-of-the-art showroom. "The role of the distributor is paramount in our business," said Verdi. "In order to build and sustain strong relationships with our distributors, it is important to recognize them for their hard work and ensure they are included in our overall business strategy and planning. They are essential to our success." For many distributors, it was their first glance of StonePeak's showroom that opened in June of this year. Complete with a full working kitchen and meeting areas, the showroom is a "home away from home" for StonePeak's distributors. The versatile work space allows them to use the showroom to hold meetings, perform training sessions or simply entertain customers. The company's corporate headquarters and offices are located on the second floor above the showroom. "StonePeak Ceramics is a leader in innovation," said Verdi. "Our showroom provides our distributors and their customers with the latest in tile design techniques and cutting-edge solutions for all types of projects." As part of their basic sales program, StonePeak Ceramics offers distributor partners and their customers frequent, thorough and ongoing training on product specs, installation requirements, tile care, sales techniques, and marketing outreach. In addition, knowledgeable front-line managers are trained and empowered to actively partner with distributors and their customers to ensure mutual success. Additionally, StonePeak Ceramics was awarded The Excellence Award at the Italian Style 2006 Gala Dinner on October 28 at the Chicago Cultural Center. The Gala is the premier event of the of the Italian-American business community in Chicago. The Excellence Award is given to those individuals and businesses that have achieved great success and set standards for others to follow. Charles Bernardini, president of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce Midwest, presented StonePeak Ceramics with the award.
