StarNet Announces 2006 Design Award Winners

Ridgefield, CT, May 29, 2007--StarNet announced its ninth Annual Design Award recipients at its recent annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. The Design Awards Grand Prize was awarded to Monster.com @ Rio West building, also winning its Large Corporate category.  The project was completed by winning architect/designer Phoenix Design One and StarNet member Wholesale Floors., headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.  Flooring materials were provided by J&J Commercial.

The competition evaluates creative use of floor covering, flooring design concept and how well designs meet client objectives and special challenges.  Highly-esteemed judges included: Maurie Welsh O’Neill, president of Maurie Welsh Design Studios and associate publisher of Floor Focus Magazine; Barbara Dellinger of HDR,; and Jennifer Thiele Busch, editor in chief of Contract Magazine.
