Shaw Announces Partnership with LG Hausys
Dalton, Georgia, April 26, 2010—Shaw Industries announced that is it partnering with LG Hausys to become the sole distributor of LG commercial resilient flooring in the U.S. and Canada. Shaw recognizes the value of the LG brand and will continue to market the product under that name. The alliance will launch in June of this year.
This partnership fills a gap in Shaw’s product line and enables them to compete within every major flooring category. It represents Shaw's first foray into the resilient commercial sector.
Tim Baucom, vice president of commercial sales and marketing at Shaw, said, "Shaw's entrance into resilient will allow us to apply our sustainability through innovation practices to transform this growing product category."
LG Hausys is a division of LG, a global organization that has 147 companies in 52 countries and focuses on the fields of electronics, chemicals, telecommunications and services.
