Robina in Joint Venture With Chinese Laminate Firm

Kennesaw, GA, April 30, 2009--Robina Floors has signed Desai Zhongxin in a joint venture agreement.

Located in Changzhou, China, the factory has a capacity of eight million square feet a month. Under the terms of the agreement, the Desai factory will operate its five Homag profiling lines to produce 2G and 5G lock laminate flooring in accordance with Robina’s Valinge license.

Robina President Jason Loh, said: “We’re excited to finalize this venture. In conjunction with our current laminate production base in Mentakaub, Malaysia, it allows us to ensure consistent quality. We will have twenty Robina production experts on-site to quality control the products from the beginning of the line to loading. We will offer our customers a full array of products at all price points – from entry level to super luxe and true commercial grade. We have gathered feedback from our customers during Surfaces and will launch the collections in the first half of 2009.”
