Mohawk Group, Eng. Floors, Couristan Announce Price Increases

Chattanooga, TN, November 2, 2021-Mohawk Group, Eng Floors Commercial/ Residential, & Couristan have announced price increases.

Mohawk Group has announced a price increase of 3% to 10% on soft and hard surfaces, accessories, and cushion products, effective with orders and shipments on or after January 3, 2022. In addition, due to unprecedented increases in ocean freight rates and availability, Mohawk Group will be increasing the import surcharge from $0.07/square foot to $0.12/square foot, effective November 1, on all shipments of imported hard surface products. This import surcharge will be adjusted as ocean freight rates change in the future.

Engineered Floors has announced a price increase on all residential, main street commercial and hard surface products, effective January 3. The price list will be available online and through sales representatives.

In addition, J+J and EF Contract announced price increases on commercial soft and hard surface products, effective January 3. These increases will be on all brands and product categories. The commercial division will also be implementing a freight surcharge effective with shipments on January 3. Those freight surcharges will be $0.12/foot for all 5 mm products and $0.07/foot for all other glue down LVT products.

Couristan announced price increases on seven collections: Brocatelle, Caledonia, Couture, Luxor, Marblehead, Pasha and Rainbow. Prices are available through the vendor portal. To help retailers absorb these adjustments, the company has also raised the MAP and MSRP on these products. This price adjustment goes into effect for all orders placed on or after December 1.
