Beyond Las Vegas - January 2008

This is the fifth year that the three biggest players—Shaw, Mohawk and Armstrong—have opted to showcase their products in venues other than Surfaces, mostly through regional shows. Many smaller but still significant players are also not exhibiting at Surfaces.

While Shaw and Mohawk offer regional events to show their products to dealers across the country, Armstrong brings retail partners to its headquarters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. All three firms offer a wide range of products in many categories. Other players like Karastan and Momeni attend the Atlanta Rug Market, also this month, but opt out of Surfaces.
