Americhem To Manufacture in North Carolina

Cuyahoga Falls, OH, June 8, 2011 -- Americhem, a global producer of custom color and additive products for the polymer and synthetic fibers industries, said it will establish a manufacturing campus on more than 40 acres in Liberty, N.C., near Greensboro.

“This is an exciting time as we add the Liberty campus,” said Rick Juve, Americhem’s CEO. “It’s part of our long-term vision to stay on the leading edge of technology in our manufacturing capabilities and in our capacity to support our customers. We look forward to starting production at Liberty this fall.”

The addition of the Liberty campus is the company’s seventh capacity expansion in the past five years. Americhem expects to have 25 million pounds of startup capacity at the Liberty campus by the fall.
