Cuyahoga Falls, OH, September 2--Americhem, Inc, a manufacturer of color concentrates and specialty dispersions for the fibers and plastics industry, has changed the name of its Dalton subsidiary, Extruded Colors, Inc., to Americhem Dalton Subsidiary Inc.
In addition, the Dalton facility has recently been certified to ISO 9001-2000 through Quality Systems Registrars, Inc.
“It is our hope that the achievement of ISO 9001 certification at our Dalton facility continues to demonstrate our commitment to produce high quality dispersions targeted at the carpet and textile markets,” stated Rick Juve, Americhem President and CEO.
Americhem’s Dalton facility is one of eight Americhem facilities worldwide. Each of Americhem’s manufacturing facilities is ISO 9001 registered. This facility primarily produces olefin color and additive concentrates for Americhem’s fiber and plastic businesses.
