Construction Resources to Open New Design Center in Tampa

Tampa, FL, November 3, 2026—Construction Resources (CR), a Southeastern multi-category design destination, has announced plans for its newest CR Design Center | Tampa, in Ybor City. 

Expected to open in 2027 and situated alongside the 50-acre Gasworx development at the historic Citrus Factory Building (1728 East 2nd Avenue), the new design center represents a significant investment in the company’s expansion, following the recent launch of its Flagship CR Design Center | Westside Paper in Atlanta (spring 2025), and the upcoming opening of the CR Design Center | Charleston (fall 2026), followed by CR Design Center | Dallas (summer 2027).

CR’s new home in Ybor City reflects the company’s continued growth across Florida, building on its recent acquisition of the Tampa-based Ramos Marble & Granite, which enhances CR’s local natural stone and quartz fabrication and installation capabilities. The company has also opened a new warehouse off U.S. Route 301 (1141 US-301) to support existing product lines, the new flagship location, and the broader region. 

Construction Resources was acquired by The Home Depot in December 2023. It is a distributor of design-oriented surfaces, appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures and specialty products for professional contractors and designers
