San Antonio, TX, October 23, 2026—Mark Bischoff, CEO of Starnet, shared highlights of this group of commercial flooring contractor’s fall meeting with FloorDaily.
The meeting’s theme “Age of Abundance,” speaks to the fact that the organization believes its members will be beneficiaries of the disruption occurring due to AI, robotics, real estate, branding and digital market, able to scale as the pace of change continues and perform better quickly.
Bischoff reports that members are in good shape currently, and, in places like San Francisco and New York City, the commercial office market is showing signs of recovery. Those in the data center market are also seeing good activity. The education and healthcare sectors are the largest for Starnet members.
The group added four members as well as one floorcare member in 2026, and Starnet members have added 51 locations. Membership currently stands at 171 shareholders with 477 total locations, 86 of which offer floorcare services.
Revenue-wise, the company expects to close the year with growth in the high single digits.
The meeting welcomed 275 member attendees. The fall meeting is always smaller than the spring meeting because it is not mandatory.
The group has been working long-term on a strategy to manage the differently size shareholders in its group (from $10 million up to $1 billion), as members like Diverzify continue to grow due to acquisition. The group recently put the last piece of its plan in place to right-size its financials around the differences in the membership, making it more appealing to commercial contractors of all sorts and sizes. It hopes that this will lead to an increase in membership.
