Tai Ping & Edward Fields Open New York Showroom

New York, NY, October 6, 2026—Tai Ping and Edward Fields have opened a new flagship showroom in New York’s A&D Building, bringing the two historic carpet houses together under one roof for the first time. 

Designed in collaboration with Gensler New York, the space reimagines the traditional trade showroom as a warm and inviting, curated space where designers and clients can engage with materials, craftsmanship and consultation in a setting designed for conversation, exploration and project development.

The opening reflects a broader shift across the luxury design landscape, where the boundaries between residential, retail and hospitality environments are increasingly blurred. 

Tai Ping is a global provider of bespoke, hand-crafted carpets, founded in 1956.

Since 1935, Edward Fields Carpet Makers has created bespoke, handmade rugs and carpets for residential interiors and commercial spaces.
