Mohawk Partners with Sunshine on a Ranney Day to Renovate Children’s Development Academy

Calhoun, GA, September 23, 2026—Mohawk partnered with Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD) to help renovate the Children’s Development Academy (CDA) in Roswell, Georgia.

CDA is a non-profit preschool that provides high-quality learning programs for children from low-income working families in the metro Atlanta area, serving up to 200 children each year, ages 12 months through five years.

In partnership with Crosby Design Group and Randall-Paulson Architects, SOARD renovated a portion of CDA’s original building, which was constructed in the 1970s, including updates to the lobby, hallways, community rooms and bathrooms, as well as the conversion of Dan existing conference room into a new classroom for one-year-olds.

Mohawk’s SolidTech flooring was selected for the main community room and classroom because of its durability and performance in active, high-traffic environments.
