Southwind Adds Four New Hires to Sales Team

Dalton, GA, August 19, 2026—Southwind Floors has strengthened its sales organization with the addition of Gavin Miller, Andy Friedlander and Rick Davis as territory managers and Jody Clayton as inside sales manager.

All four bring extensive flooring industry experience from Shaw Industries, along with backgrounds in sales, customer relationships and market development.

Southwind Floors is a U.S. flooring manufacturer based in Dalton, Georgia. Originally founded in 1994 as Cherokee Carpet Industries, the company has expanded from producing residential and commercial broadloom carpets into hard surface flooring (LVT, hardwood and laminate). Southwind is led by Drew Hash, who spent his early career focused on the hardwood flooring business and become vice president of hard surface at Shaw before leaving to take the CEO role at Southwind.
