Atlanta, GA, August 18, 2026—The Home Depot reported sales of $47.9 billion for Q2 2026, an increase of 5.7% from Q2 2025. Comparable sales for Q2 2026 increased 1.7%, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 1.3%.
Net earnings for Q2 2026 were $4.8 billion, a 4.7% increase compared with net earnings of $4.6 billion in the same period of fiscal 2025.
For the first six months of 2026, sales were $89.6 billion, an increase of 5.3% from the prior year’s $85.1 billion.
Net earnings for the first six months of 2026 were $8.1 billion, up 0.9% from the prior year’s $8.0 billion.
Home Depot significantly expanded its professional contractor and building product distribution network through major multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, highlighted by the $18.25 billion purchase of SRS Distribution in 2024 and the $5.5 billion acquisition of GMS Inc. in September 2025. The company bought Redi Carpet in 2023.
“Our second quarter results exceeded our expectations. We saw broad based demand across the business as customers continued to engage in smaller projects,” said Richard McPhail, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
