Roppe Holding Becomes Employee-Owned

Fostoria, OH, August 17, 2026—Roppe Holding Company (RHC) and its family of brands (Roppe, Flexco, Seneca Millwork, ATECO, Six Degrees, RHC Logistics, Tuflex Sports Surfaces, TCB Holdings, Inc.), primarily known for its luxury and durable flooring solutions, announced that it has become a 100% employee‑owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

The transition marks a milestone for the company, building on decades of family ownership while reinforcing a long‑standing commitment to stability, independence and people‑driven success. RHC’s success has been built on a foundation of partnership with our customers, our employees, and our communities.

“Our brands are known for consistency, expertise, and delivering on promises,” said Norman Freebeck, President of Roppe Holding Company. “We are recognized year over year for consistently delivering quality products to our industry partners. This reputation would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our long-term employees. Transitioning to employee ownership helps ensure that the individuals moving this company forward now have a direct stake in its future.”

As a long‑standing, family‑owned business, it was important to the leadership team that RHC maintains its independence and deep ties to its home communities. The ESOP structure allows the company to remain privately held and locally rooted while continuing to operate exactly as it always has.

An ESOP is a retirement plan funded entirely by the company and invested in company stock. Through the plan, employees receive individual ESOP accounts that can grow over time as company stock is added and the business performs well.

Roppe Holding Company will continue operating with Freebeck leading the executive team.
