Flooring Contractor Martins-Rodrigues Pleads Guilty to Grand Larceny


East Hampton, NY, August 14, 2026—Flooring contractor Leones Martins-Rodrigues, 40, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted grand larceny after stealing more than $90,000 from clients in East Hampton and Southampton, New York to pay his personal debts, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said and Patch.com reported.

The funds were paid to Martins-Rodrigues, owner of Smart Flooring, in return for contracting services that were never performed.
