Washington, DC, August 6, 2026– Nonfarm business sector labor productivity increased 1.4% in Q2 2026, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported, as output increased 1.7% and hours worked increased 0.3%.
From the same quarter a year ago, nonfarm business sector labor productivity increased 2.2% in Q2 2026.
